Question about the postman

Hi Im very new to this site and I have been looking at this site for a while and i love it and I do have a questions about my forms I-485 and I-765 and we overnite it on Friday to Chicago, IL and we track the number and it said that it was received yesturday at 9:49pm. I was wondering do the postman deliver on Sunday? But when he delivered my package the person sign it as well. Do you think that they have my package did they get it this morning. I hope someone can help me with this. Thank you very much.

The post office doesn't usually deliver on Sundays. Did you use the US post office? If you used FedEx or DHL they do deliver on Sundays but probably it won't begin to be processed in until today, Monday.

Yeah the US post office do deliver mails on Sunday. I sent my I-485 on March 14th which was on Friday and the application was delivered on Sunday with the receipient signature. I was skeptical too, so I called US postal service to send me a copy of the receipient signature which they did. Then few days after, I called USCIS and they confirmed that they have my application. So do not worry, your application is delivered.
