Hi all :) ,

I am AOS pending since March,

and the next step is ASC (fingerprint) for AOS & EAD.

After re-scheduling my ASC appointment

(We got the appintment notice letter only FOUR days in advance

and it was just impossible to make it.... ),

A month later, we finally got TWO "rescheduled ASC appointment" letter for AOS & EAD.

In those letters,

my first fingerprint is scheduled in late June,

and the second is scheduled in late July.

However-in the notice letter they ALSO say

"Please disregard notice if you have been fingerprinted within the last 90 days"

Now- let me make this clear

Do they mean that I just need one fingerprint for both (EAD & AOS)?

there is a biometrics for EAD (one finger and a picture) and another for AOS (10 fingers, signature and pic). They are sometimes done at the same visit. Take both NOA to your appointment.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Sometimes they both get done at one appointment, and sometimes people would receive different appointments for EAD/AOS and have to go twice. So since you have 2 appointments you will have to go twice, unless if you bring both letters for your first appointment and they decide there to do both biometrics for EAD/AOS at that one appointment to be done with it.

Wow! Thank you all for the fast reply!

You know what

bringing the both letter sounds like a really good idea!

I will definitely do that, and see if I can finish this in one visit

That will be really nice

(since I live 2.5 hours away from the USCIS office,

and yeah, both of my appointment is scheduled at 8 am!)

Thanks again, guys!
