Another quick (and probably the last for a while...) update. Biometrics done this morning. I guess now the long wait starts...

Hey guys this is my timeline.

1 apr 08 N400 sent

2 april 08 Received by VSC

8 april 08 Check cashed

19 april 08 NOA received ( expect to be notified in 365 days)

NOA did not say anything for biometrics..

called uscis, IO said that

23 april 08 FBI name check started

My understanding is that FBI polls out the entire file for every applicant from the National Record Center from the day 1 we enter US. (IO conversation).

Let's see what happens everyone.

I am so far having the same experience with you. It maybe to early for me to worry, but just want to share if it happens to be the same path. I still have not received a FP letter. Many post members here have already gotten their FP appoinments just after a few days their NOA arrived. My NOA (05/15/08) says nothing about FP or Biometric just notified that I should expect the date and place for the interview within 180 days.

Is there anyone else having the same experience with us? :unsure:

05/08/2008: Notice Date

05/15/2008: NOA (to be notified within 180 days for the interview)

09/02/2008: INFOPASS, IO helped set up a FP scheduled

09/17/2008: FP appointment

09/25/2008: NOA Notice for Interview appointment on 10/22/2008

10/22/2008: Interview date at 11.00 am

10/22/2008: Oath Ceremony 3.00 pm (total: 177 days)

05/31/2007: NOA

06/22/2007: Bio. Appt.

01/07/2008: Approved

01/12/2008: Received 10 Yrs. Green card

INTERVIEW January 19,2005-switched from K3 to IR-1

I-601 waiver filed at interview

February 18 I-864/DS-230/IR-1 fee paid at Montreal consulate

WAIVER SENT TO VSC from Montreal April 1,2005

Expedited with senator assistance.

I-601 APPROVED JUNE 17,2005!!!!!!!!!!

Am I the first on this board to get an interview letter????

I got a letter today with an interview schedule for July /14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :dance:

I can not believe how fast it's been the process ,here is my status:

04/14/2008- sent application

04/15/2008- Received - Delivery confirmation signature at Nebraska Service

04/18/2008- Check cashed

04/26/2008- NOA1 expect to be notified within 240 days

04/28/2008- NOA2 firgerprint appointment letter received

05/07/2008- Biometic appointment

06/02/2008- NOA3-Interview on July/14/08!

Now I really have to study those questions! :blink:

04/12/2008: N-400 Application mailed (CSC)

11/17/2006 - received CONDITIONAL GREEN CARD

3/7/2008 - send n400 by mail from Kuwait

3/31/2008 - USCIS received it

4/15/2008 - NOA

5/21/2008 - RECEIVED notice for INTERVIEW

6/10/2008 - INTERVIEW DATE for Naturalization

Note: I HAVE INCLUDED MY FP cards done at the US Consulate in Kuwait..

Thanks! I must admit I'm surprised at how fast that went. The NOA date on the interview letter says "May 30th", 2 days after my biometrics. :blink: I can't complain. :thumbs:
