My check was cashed on 4/18 and I don't have NOA yet (also no receipt number on the check). So yeah, I'm starting to worry too -- but you know, this is the USCIS we're talking about, things take a while, and there's often no rhyme or reason...

It's been 8 days and still nothing.... no check cashed, no NOA

Just an FYI - Our check in Jan/Feb was cashed within one week or so of the application, but our NOA was not received for more than a month...with the biometrics just a few days later.

When you received first NOA, does it say anything about biometrics?

Like you will receive letter for it?

I-751 did. I am just wondering if it is similar NOA.

Yes - it just said that you will get a separate biometrics letter. No indication of how long the wait is though...

08-18 - Interview scheduled (Memphis)

11-21 - Oath Scheduled - Done with USCIS!

11-21 - applied for passport - awaiting....

Just a quick update - got my biometrics letter today. Appointment date is 5/14. I'm surprised it came so quickly (especially after a particularly nightmarish I-751 journey...).

Updated full timeline now in my signature. Let's hope April 2008 is a good month to file for all of us :thumbs:

MAY 24, 2007 NOA (1-year extension notice)

MAY 28, 2007 Biometrics appointment notice

JUN 11, 2007 Biometrics appointment completed

JUN 11, 2007 touched

JUN 12, 2007 touched

JUN 20, 2007 touched (because of change of address, but still within VSC)

OCT 26, 2007 Card Production ordered

NOV 2, 2007 Approval Notice mailed to us

NOV 8, 2007 10-year Card received!!!

N400 Mailed to NSC. Local Field Office: Seattle

APR 9, 2008 N-400 application mailed

April 10, 2008 Priority date

April 14, 2008 check cashed

April 19, 2008 touched

April 21, 2008 Received NOA 1 dated April 16, 2008. Says interview will happen within 248 days.

May 5, 2008. Biometrics completed

Sep 22, 2008. IL received

Nov 18, 2008. Interview. Done!!! Passed!!!

Dec 3, 2008 Oath

Dec 5, 2008 Passport application submitted (with naturalization certificate)

Dec 13, 2008 Naturalization certificate received in the mail

Dec 15, 2008 US passport received in the mail.

04/15/2008- Received - Delivery confirmation signature at Nebraska Service

04/18/2008-Check cashed

04/26/2008-NOA1 expect to be notified within 240 days

04/28/2008-NOA2 firgerprint appointment letter received

05/07/2008-Biometic appointment

They cashed my check today, here is my updated timeline:

Mailed out Apr 27

Received Apr 29

Check cashed May 07

Hopefully I will receive my NOA soon.

09/25/2008: NOA Notice for Interview appointment on 10/22/2008

10/22/2008: Interview date at 11.00 am

10/22/2008: Oath Ceremony 3.00 pm (total: 177 days)
