Our file date is 4/4/08.......all we've got from them so far was the email confirming that. Waiting....waiting....waiting.

I'm flying home end of June and my husband is staying here until September. Can't wait till this is all over!!!

Well they must have reached my filing date (26 February), because we got an RFE in the mail yesterday. Starting a new post on that.....

Hi Red Baron,

Thanks for asking. We have actually been on the road the last couple of weeks in Spain. A friend is checking the mail and should forward our Packet 3 when it arrives. We are hoping to have it this week and return all the materials we collected over the past three months. Returning the checklist of course at the same time, and judging from the other timelines, we hope to have an interview date in about 5 weeks!

We'll see! I wish I could go ahead and post the Packet 3 materials...i downloaded all of them, but someone said i needed to send back the originals that we receive. Something about them having our case number on them. Can't we just fill in a case number to the ones we get off the internet? They seem to all be on the embassy website...

Just a thought. Being on the road might set us back a week or two!

Not sure how long that takes i beleive it is only a couple weeks someone can correct me if i am wrong. Im also excited they are processing our 130 now so hopefully NOA2 shouldnt be too far off. Then we can all Join in with Julez and wait for our interview

Shouldn't be much more than a week for packet 3, and then a few weeks for packet 4, once you've returned the DS-230 and checklist.

Wow... Got packet 3 yesterday the 13th June and now the wait again begins for the police certificates.

My hubby is a bit complex cause he needs 3 of them.. one from Netherlands, Bahamas and Uk. So all in all about 2-3 weeks till i can send it back in.

Not too bad i think.. 2-3 weeks then another month till interview. I hope we can be out of here by end or beginning Sept.

Still waiting for the NOA2 nothing yet and the embassy has been on April 1st for 9 days no whtey must have got to the 4th already. I think im going out of my mind

We finally received word back from our RFE and we must not have sent enough proof because we were called in for an interview a month after sending in the RFE. All seems to be back on track now, and we are just waiting on that NOA2 and Packet 3!!!

Basically we returned exactly what they asked for (3 affidavits from colleagues/friends vouching for our bona fides and proof of joint accounts.) What they really wanted was info on our weddings (civil and religious), pictures, emails, etc. Our story is one of love at first sight, meeting, getting married and living the last nine plus months together (3 of those in long distance), so the embassy wanted the down-low.

We hope to receive NOA2 and Packet 3 within the next week or so, because we have had everything ready since mid-May.

Hopefully things will keep on trucking.
