I just wonder because my I-864 barcode sheet and my IV bill were both sent out on March 31st. Is it odd to not have them three weeks later or is this normal procedure? I know most people use James Shortcuts to circumvent the wait time on mailing but how do you know when they are lost or if they are just late? Does NVC ever send them out twice without waiting the full six weeks? What is the deal with mail sitting in the mailroom anyway? That surely can't help anything go smoothly for the NVC with people freaking out that they haven't gotten their mail from them. Thanks again, I look forward to hearing everyones experience with this.

With NVC mailing, you never know. Its not odd to not have the barcode sheet after three weeks. As a matter of fact, I never received mine. Here are my experience with NVC mailings

My wife received the DS-3032 after two months from the time its generated.

I never received the I-864 barcode packet/instruction.

My IV bill arrived two weeks after its generated.

And I still have not received the reuest for DS-230

In summary, the only thing that went well was the IV bill.

I just got my i-864 paperwork today and the date on it is March 24th (3 weeks). Thank God that I didn't wait for it. It was already processed like 1 1/2 ago. I'm almost finished with NVC.

It can take anywhere from 1 (if you're lucky)-4 weeks from the date of generation for the mail to be received at it's destination. NVC operators could only see when a packet was generated and not when it was mailed out.
