Good luck

does the assest work

Assets do work if you have at least 3 times the required amount for 125% of poverty line for the household. If you do not have enough assets - try to line up a co-sponsor. Good Luck

yes we have more than enought assest, more than 5 times

Then you should be fine without a co-sponsor. When you fill out the financial sponsor's form, you will see that there is a whole stack of extra pages to fill out if you are using assets instead of income.

I only had two years' of tax returns (studying abroad beforehand), and neither was above the 125% poverty line. However, I also submitted a letter from my employer, dated last summer, which states my new income (which is sufficient to be a sponsor). Apparently, this was enough, because we're having our AOS interview in May! :)
