Preamble

Chicano and Chicana students of Aztlan must take upon themselves the responsibilities to promote Chicanismo within the community, politicizing our Raza with an emphasis on indigenous consciousness to continue the struggle for the self-determination of the Chicano people for the purpose of liberating Aztlan.

The following structure will make every MEChista accountable to its chapter, every chapter accountable to it's central (where applicable), every central accountable to its region, every region accountable to its state (where applicable), and every state accountable to the national.

Yeah, that thread kind of died out. It's safe to say that M.E.Ch.A. isn't the benign organization that many portray it to be. It has an underlying agenda that is a lot different than their public persona. It's all about race (their race) and to deny otherwise is being less than honest. That's all I have to say about it.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

Actually there never was a thread specifically about M.E.Ch.A. M.E.Ch.A. was touched on in the Villraigosa thread.

So introducing this thread wouldn't really be duplicating.

But when we turn to the Hebrew literature, we do not find such jokes about the donkey. Rather the animal is known for its strength and its loyalty to its master (Genesis 49:14; Numbers 22:30).

Here's what I noticed while googling M.E.Ch.A though - lots of american colleges and universities, public and private, have M.E.Ch.A chapters. Given the somewhat incendiary nature of their national constitution, why is this organization so popular on campuses?

plus chicanos are as american as mickey d's, they should look for better ways to promote integration while preserving the hispanic roots, rather than to keep isolating themselves and all that bs..
