Affadavit of Support I-134 ORIGINALS or COPIES?

When we filed for the I-129F my American Fiancee filled out the I-134 forms with letters from banks / employers / parents etc. The I-129F was successful.

I now have all my info ready for the K1 interview and have the copies of her I-134 forms. Do I need to get originals again or is it a case that when we filed the American papers all of that info stays on my file and doesn't have to be filled out again?

The I-134 form and its supporting documents are needed at the interview not when you file the I-129F and it has to be the original notarized not copy. So i suggest you have another one filled out notarized with its supporting documents and send it to your fiance. The one you sent with the I-129F might not work because its has likely been months since you filed the I-129F but this is my suggestion. So if i am wrong please somebody correct me. Can you not make 3 copies and have each one notarized all at the same time?

Just be aware that if a significant time has passed between the old I134 then you may need to do an updated one and need to include 'fresh' documents to support it. I would think any thing less than 3 months old would be OK but do not know what the cut off is - 6 months? 9 months? Good Luck.

Heard today that because we supplied an I-134 when we applied for the I-129F we don't need to produce this evidence again at my interview. They have the originals on file.
