no lease or mortgage contract

does anybody here have the same case with me? we live with my husbands parents & we don't have mortgage or lease contract under our names. i'm really bothered that this will cause problem on our application. pls help!

If you have substantial amount of other proof then just the mere lack of a mortgage/lease contract should not be a problem. You will want to have your husband's parents sign sworn affidavits that say you live with them. And you should have other proof of marriage. Good luck

I didn't send nay mortgage/lease type of proof. I was comfortable with our level of proof using joint bank statements, joint credit cards, joint insurance etc. Good Luck

Get a letter from your family indicating your living arrangement with them.

Include evidence of mail being sent to the both of you at that address.

Just think outside the box as far as proving that the both of you share the same residence.

We also didn't have a mortgage or lease, but we sent other evidence to show that we are living together. We are hoping that strong evidence in other categories will outweigh the weaker evidence in this regard.

I agree with previous posts about sending a notarized letter from your parents and copies of mail sent to both of you at the same address. Another thing you can send is a copy of both your driver's licenses showing the same address. If you have any utility bills in your names, send copies of those. Good luck!
