This will be my last post here in Calgary. Tomorrow morning I leave my baby and fiancee. My heart is broken right now. It has been four wonderful months together. I saw my baby being born and woke up every morning next to Portia and my daughter Miyah. This K-1 process has to be one of the hardest things to go through. After tomorrow Portia and I are back to phone calls and emails. The only thing we know is that one day this will be over with, but that one day can't come fast enough. So everyone who reads this...It's tough...very tough, but love...if it is true and strong can survive anything! I don't want to sound corny, but thanks to everyone who has read my post and replied back. It really means a lot to have support. God bless.

I am so sorry you have to leave ur family. I guess life is not fair to many of us when it comes down to this issue. I haven't seen my fiancee for a while and It is very hard. You have a kid now and you watched it born and everything so I can't imagine how hard it is for you.

I am suppose to be conforting you here, so All I am going to say is GOOD LUCK for the rest of your journey and I pray for you to get your approval ASAP. But after it is all said and done, I bet you that your wife and ur kid will appreciate you more and understand what u have through.

Good luck, stay positive and keep your imagining the day y'all going to be together.

I know how hard it is to have to say goodbye. I can only imagine the pain intensified to have to leave your baby too. Sometimes it is almost impossible to keep a positive attitude. The reality is we are left with email and phone calls which can never come near to that physical presence and warmth of being with your family. It is a cruel process and one that needs to be looked at by lawmakers to end the hardships and sufferings of those waiting to be reunited. If it's any consolation....we are all in the same boat...and there are many wonderful people on VJ willing to lend an ear and give advice...God Speed....and remember "This too shall pass".
