John McCain Sucks

I'm not sure John McCain would do that - he's not exactly a fundie whose made abortion some key issue. I would expect his supreme court choices to be moderate.

Incidentally, Obama voted "present" on key abortion bills when he was in the Illinois legislature.

I'd join those who are skeptical that if nominated, Barack is a certainty to enter the WH. McCain is not that unpalletable and Barack does turn people off and more so those who don't belong on the far left.

I should say Barack is not appealing to everyone and more so those who don't belong on the far left.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Clearly, you haven't looked at Sen McCain's record on the issue.

I have, but like I say - I don't see him making it a litmus test

I have to say on abortion, the only candidate I believe properly represents my beliefs is HRC. Obama's "present" votes make him lose out on this issue.

It ain't November yet, is it?

Nope. But we will see - it will be one of the issues I look at before deciding how to vote for sure.

Though you are adamantly opposed to illegal immigration - I'm sure you know how difficult it is to be a one issue voter :D

It's a shame. If it were not for his stance on the war, his age, core policies, flip-flopping to attract conservatives, and some of his conservative positions... I would consider voting for him. For now, he'll just have to settle with my respect and attentiveness to his POVs. We need a third party.:no::huh: I'll place a bet with anyone that John McCain will be dead before the end of his first term. Yeah, I wrote it...

Fortunately for the rest of us, what you think, in the totality of all that's life, very few really care what you think!

I mean it's not that there's a posse of reporters following you around to get your opinion, eh?

Yeah, I wrote it...

Well, there's no choice this election in regards to illegal immigration - at least not for the presidential election. None of the candidates represents me on that one - they are all in favor of amnesty. So, unfortunately, it's a moot point when making a decision this year when it comes to picking a President. Gotta put some counterweight into Congress, then. There are folks for Congress running on a platform in regards to illegal immigration that I can live with. ;)

Save your energy, you are going to need it for this bumpy ride to the white house. I so hope it will be Obama, but at this stage, any viable democrat is looking good. I can’t take another 4 years of the same thing, need a little rest, from all the mess we are in. Did anyone see Justice Scalia on 60 minutes; I was taken a little aback by some of his answers to questions.
