Hi All

I am hoping someone can help me. My fiance finally got approved on 9 April 2008 after having to go to Casablanca Embassy four times in this last week. We were estatic. Then this morning April 11, 2008 the Embassy called him and said we are very sorry but we had to cancel your visa and plz bring in your passport on Monday. WE are dazed she would not tell him why. Has anyone any idea why they woudl do that?

You will need to see what the NOID letter says, they can, at the very last minute, deny the visa if they find out something.

I suspect your fiance has a clue to the reason why without any information from the Consulate. He'll get at least some indication in writing Monday or soon after.

The visa allows one entry to the USA within six months of its issue date. To remain in the USA, the visa holder must marry the US Citizen that petitioned for them within 90 days of US entry and then file to adjust status.

The visa in question was cancelled or revoked before it was used. This is rare but could happen to anybody if there's reason for it to happen.

Not necessarily would he know. Casa is known for returning petitions without any rhyme or reason.
