Maybe if we made the companies that hire illegal immigrants to practice proper hiring practices and give out huge fines to those caught with immigrants we might not have such a problem. No jobs = no more illegal immigrants.

yeah it is amazing that they NEVER do anything to those employers (ie; mobsters/crooks) . Here the cops cants really do anything cuz its federal issue, so their hands are tied. The feds havent come in here yet. I keep waiting. LOL!And everyday it is the same thing, day workers waiting for all the contractors to pick them up...they make about $100 to $150 a day cash plus the boss buys them lunch and of course, provides transportation to their work.......hell they make a lot more than me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mailed I-751 overnight mail to Vermont Service Center 09/10/09

VSC received the I-751 Packet 09/11/09 About 12 pm Local time

Check was cashed as of Sept 16th 2009

NOA Received 09/19/09 dated 09/14/09

I-797 Appointment Notice received 10/01/09 dated 09/25/09 (Biometrics)

Got they 10 year GC approval letter in the mail dated 01/08/10! yehey!

10 GREENCARD RECEIVED 01/20/10

Citizenship.......maybe............or maybe stay a permanent resident .......................

I lived on a street in Downtown Eastside Vancouver right by Gastown (for a few months a few times).

It is an area of the most HIV/AIDS, crack et al of this continent if not the world per capita.

(Percentage speaking.)

And so, outside the loft's window to the alley - crack alley, as we all called it - and where I had to drive into (to open the garage door by hand to park my scooter, and then motorcycle) I witnessed things I cannot talk about.

It makes me feel sick.

However the part I will talk about is this:

At least half the people there drove in with very nice cars, well dressed and middle aged.

They were men and women from the 'burbs.

I remember my eyes wide open watching a middle-aged woman dressed very nicely - could have been anyone's mom, an upstanding member of some community - shoot heroin in the alley and take a trip. Bleh.

Addiction is addiction.

It crosses all boundaries.

Age, class, culture.

Please never think that a certain neighbourhood is "safe" or "better".

Well they sure don't have it as hard as everyone thinks they do.

May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE
