 Cheers Ewok - you're faster than a speeding bullet (or should that be 'flying ewok'? more furry, less fatal? )

Wellllllllll....I never wanted to mention this before, Cap'n but in the drop-down menu of forums? One word for the forum "Lifting Conditions on Residence General Discussion" is not correct.

It should be "Residency" and not Residence". It's on that forum's main page as well.

Hmm, don't know about that, but it's not "lifting" at all, it's "removing":

How Do I Remove the Conditions on Permanent Residence Based on Marriage?

"You may apply to remove your conditions on permanent residence if:"

"To find out how you can apply to remove your conditions of residence"

"Form I-751 (Petition to Remove the Conditions on Residence)"

Since it's technically "Permanent Resident status", I'd argue against 'residency', but not very vehemently :)

The act or a period of residing in a place.

A medical residency.

n., pl. -cies.

The position or term of a medical resident.

The house of a colonial resident.

Hmmmmm maybe you're right, it just didn't sound right to me. When I had my AOS approved I gained conditional permanent residency, I am a permanent resident...I don't know.....

Anyone else?
