Interview in 6 days

So our interview is on Thursday 17th April at 8.30am. I just want to check with you all if you think our evidence is ok.

So far the evidence we have to take to the interview is:

1. Appointment Letter for Interview
2. NOA for Biometrics, I-485 and I-130
3. Copies of everything we filed for I-485 and I-130 (plus all evidence)
4. I-864 affadivit of support (updated)
5. G-325A Biographic Information (heard of people having to re-fill this out)
6. Copy and original of my Passport (foreigner) and I-94
7. Birth Certificate for my husband (USC)
8. Marriage Ceritificate
9. Husband's divorce papers
10. Drivers license for both of us showing same address
11. Income Tax Filing 2004-2006 (We have sent off all our info to our tax guy for our 2007 taxes [Filing jointly]. We're just not sure if we'll get our actual return back before the interview)
12. My husband is self-employed but does steady contract work for one company. He can show the past 6 months of pay checks from them. (He is also trying to get a letter from them, detailing how much he earns at least a month from them.)
13. Apartment rental agreement showing both our names on it
14. Brighthouse cable bill with both our names on it
15. Sprint statements showing family plan with both our phone numbers on them
16. Joint bank statements with both our names on them
17. Joint personal loan with both our names on the contract
18. Car rental agreement with my name and a part that says Spouse ok, plus a print out from Enterprise with both our information on it
19. Cards, letters and envelopes addressed to both of us
20. Copy of an Agreement we signed with a realtor for us looking for a house
21. Pictures - around 130 (from our civil service and our life together since we met)
22. Copy of ceremony/reception contract for our family wedding for August
23. 2 Written affidavits from family and friend
24. We also have junk mail and letters from the IRS that come individually to us at the same address

Let me know what you all think. Will this be ok or what else should we try and get?

Do you have any documents that list each other as beneficiaries? Like a will, life insurance, investments, etc? That's all I can think of.

No we don't have any kind of investments. As i'm not working yet we can't really afford to do anything like that. We don't have any wills, health or life insurance.

Thanks everyone. Getting anxious and a little nervous now. We've been waiting for this moment for what seems like forever.

Our tax guy emailed me on Friday and said he was mailing us our tax returns on Saturday. So we should hopefully have them before Thursday. We will then have my husbands self-employed taxes and our joint personal tax return.

It this really needed? I'm bringing my co-sponsor's, my wife's and even my 2 latest pay stubs. Since we filed for AOS prior to our college graduation we needed a co-sponsor, now pretty much I can even sponsor myself. Also, my wife (the USC) has adopted my last name since filing for AOS, do we need to change her G-325A?

Hey,

The updated I-864 is to include 2007's income. The one we filled in with the application last year had the income and tax returns for 2006, 2005 and 2004. The updated one we'll be taking to the interview (if we receive our 2007 tax returns) will have the income from 2007. We'll then take the tax returns for 2007, 2006 and 2005. We will also take the past 4 months of pay checks that my husband has received from the one company he does most of his work for.

The G-325 Biographic is just a copy from the original application we mailed in - as we have copies of everything we sent. I've heard of people going for their interview and there are pieces missing from their application (we all know the government) and so they had to fill some stuff out again. We're just taking a copy of the one from last year to the interview. The one we sent last year had my new married name on it. If you want to fill another one out with your wifes new details of her taking your last name, just in case they ask it couldn't hurt.
