What day's is St. Lukes (SLMEC) Open? I thought they were open Monday - Friday. My fiance told me yesterday they are closed on Friday. Maybe they are closed on Friday next week 4/18/08 for holiday ?

Please help with the days they are open.

Thanks

Carol and Richie

From what I have read they are open in Friday. My girl will be there in the morning for her exam, I will ask her to ask them and I will let you know tomorrow.

Thanks that would be great if you can find out if they are open on Friday. I tried to call the SLMEC last night for 3 hours straight and the phone was busy.

I do not know why Carol does not believe me when I say they are open on Friday. Her friend Mae told her they are closed on Friday and now she will not believe they are open on Friday when I tell her they are open on Friday.

Mae also told her to get all her Vaccinations in Gensan before the medical because it will cost her twice as much in Manila for the vaccinations. She beleives this also now. I told her they are included in the medical not to worry about vaccinations in Gensan.

Why does she believe it when people tell her things that are not true in the Philippines ?

It makes my job twice as hard when she does not believe what I say.

why dont she call slec??? its cheaper... i call them before to asked questions in my globe # and just cost me P5/min... that way she'll find out for herself instead of believing a hearsay... vaccination will be included on the med fee in slec regardless if you want it or not (its a package already)... hope she'll be enlighten on this... let her visit VJ lol... good luck and God bless!!!

hi feldz23,

just got back from day 2 of my medical exam at slec. firstly, they are open monday to friday except on philippine holidays. there is no holiday on friday so she can go there on friday. secondly, there is no need for her to get vaccinations prior to the medical exam. that is a mere waste of time and money. the doctor at slec will tell her what immunizations she will need and what are available at slec at the time she applies. you will be paying P7,671.35 in slec that includes the immunizations she will be receiving. so there is no point getting pre-vaccinated as you will be paying for the same things at slec. tell your fiance to call me at 09162832218 if she wants updated information. perhaps the persons who are advising her have outdated information already. good luck.
