Hey baby, hang in there with the rest of us. It's ok to cry, scream, vent, throw things, stay in bed all day, all of these things. We are here to support you when u are down and to cheer u when u have the visa. This is the worst thing anyone can go through but hang in there and never give up. It is soooooooooooo worth the wait and helps your relationship grow stronger.

There are folks who have incredibly long AP's in MENA. Look to these people and learn from them. If nothing else, they will inspire you to just keep pressing on.

Don't just open your mouth and prove yourself a fool....put it in writing.

It gets harder the more you know. Because the more you find out, the uglier everything seems.

I'm sorry for your sad emotions. This is very normal for the journey of immigration. Like others have said do not give up because in the end it will all be worth it. My SO says you know one day we will look back and say wow, that was a bad time in our lives but it just led us to the best times that God laid ahead for us. I agree with the others learn from the ones who have had long AP's, see their strength, maybe make friends with a few and get support and give support to them.

I don't think that there is much you can do once you are in AP. I think you just have to wait it out and even contacting Senators from what I have heard will not rush anything.

Best wishes!

Please be patient. The response that your fiance got is a typical one. They did not single your case out. Hopefully, your wait will be over very soon. (F)

We go through it with you dear, we have our shitty days, how happy days, I actually had one of the worst days in my life last night with no sleep and waking up today only feeling like ending this life would be easier, everything kinda made it that way, not just the visa. I actually am a bit numb still from the day but you know its ok. This is how we learn. we think, no i cant pass another month. and then...we can. its not our favorite accomplishment, but it IS an accomplishment. God is with us. I know God steers us the right way, the time isnt right yet, may be tomorrow or the next day. I would never want a bad outcome for my hastiness. I also cannot keep my promise of control and hopefullness always, I break down at least once every month that passes but pick it all up and get cheery.

Life is good really, we are just in a waiting period. After this there will be more things to stress about, thats life right?

God knows best and when our days come they will be spectacular!

Oh yes, DOS told me that same message of AP, ya it hurts way too much to hear it. Better not to call or go crazy inquiring. Better to get into a state of patience and little dreams.

I pray for you and me and all in AP and just in this process in general.

With love,

Tammy (F)

AP: Over 1 year.

Visa: Nov 2

US Entry: Nov 13, Alhamdulillah.
