Glad that the jury decided not to make an exception in this case and grant the death penalty.

He's had his 15 minutes of fame. Now he can languish in jail, forgotten and irrelevant. The terrorists will have to look elsewhere for a martyr

I agree with you on this one Fishdude. To kill him would only make him a marytor. This way he has the rest of his life to lament his misdeeds. Personally I hope he lives to 120 years old.

He SO totally wanted to die - and get 'fame' - all this nonsense about 'I win' - it's just posturing - he knows dayum well he's lost.

I hope he gets gang raped & beaten every day that he's in prison

Could think of much worse things than that for him Lisa  but totally agree with you

According to the news story I read he will be put in the Super Max prison in Colorado with "special circumstances". That means ALL contact with the outside world and other prisoners will be cut off. He will stay in his cell by himself 23 hours a day. He will be let out 1 hour each day to exercise by himself. The only contact he will have is with the guards.

Will he get books? Will he get to write letters to people on the outside?

I dunno...I just hate the way statements like these sound.

Living the rest of his life in solitary confinement sounds like a worse hell to me.

He gets 35 hours of non-contact visitation a month. And he may even get a TV. That's not hell.

And a bigger living space. We basically slept in a coffin when I was in the US Navy.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can’t pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government’s reckless fiscal policies."

Wow - not a place to be if you have claustrophobia.

First time I saw that - I thought it was one of those weird Japanese 'coffin hotels' you hear about.
