You forgot to add Crocs to your list, Amber. I don't care how comfy crocs are. They should be banned from planet earth.

Amen, sister, AMEN.

And can I get a Hallelujah!

Ok, thanks, Marilyn. I've never seen anyone wearing this before.

the upper crust people wear them.. mainly in england , I think...

The day cravat was worn in the early decades of the twentieth century as casual wear, often as sports wear such as when playing golf. The Duke of Windsor often wore one in this manner. It was regarded as an elegant form of casual dress. Ascots of the casual day cravat variety were popular in fashion for teenaged and young adult males in the mid-to-late 1960s, coinciding with the mod and psychedelic movements. Currently, the day cravat is often considered over dressy for casual wear though some men will wear it as part of a conservative business casual ensemble in place of a tie. Emmy award winning actor Jeremy Piven is known to wear an ascot tie, an unusual choice in his time. US Army Officer Candidates wear ascots as part of their uniform. Fred Jones of Scooby Doo wears an orange ascot, which was a craze in the 60s next to tye-dye shirts, bell bottoms and peace necklaces. Michael Corleone, Al Pacino's character in The Godfather, wears an ascot in a few scenes, and is pictured wearing it on some versions of the Part II DVD.

is it bad that I checked every single box??

having said that I can admit that there are a few of those I am guilty of (but NOT uggs, no sirree) but at least I am able to acknowledge that its tacky and trashy. I just usually dont care. and these days, I figure if its not marked somewhere by some kind of baby goo then its all good.

As far as the ascot goes, frankly when I see it I wonder how long its gonna be before we see the gay husband Simon from Real Housewives of NYC wearing one. seems RIGHT up his alley. am I wrong?

It annoys me very badly when I see people wearing any kind of sandal with socks. I just want to tackle them and take the socks off.

Jelly shoes are really cute if you're three years old.

I saw a guy in a confederate flag tank top at a roadside stand in Morocco. I know he had no clue what it meant. I still have to look at the damn thing, plus a statue of Pitchfork Tillman, whenever I drive past the State House. So no to the confederate bikini, and not just cuz it's tacky.

I didn't know what Uggs were, probably because it never gets that cold here. They look soft and cozy.

I don't care one way or another about socks with sandals or anything else. Don't like flip flops though, just because I don't want anything between my toes. I only floss my teeth, period.

Other than that, I'm a fashion disaster, and I don't really care what anyone else chooses to wear, although I'd rather not look at bare, bulging bellies or backsides.

I'm the USC.

Not really. I did that.

Anyway... speaking of tacky, I told my wife that when we were going to get married, I was going to wear a "dark blue crushed velvet suit, an Indiana Jones fedora, roller skates, fingerless gloves, and a Phantom of the Opera mask." I don't remember exactly what she told me in the response to that, but I do believe she threatened my life. Of course, I was too busy laughing to really notice. B)
