Forget "pro" wrasslin'. Try Roller Derby, instead! The current revival is a grass-roots all-female movement and most major US cities have at least one league (there's even one in London). The games are never staged, there's an occasional catfight, and it's a lot of fun to watch. Plus tickets in the "suicide seats" (aka Ringside) are typically cheaper than "nosebleed" seats at a "pro" wrasslin' event. And if you're sitting there, and you're lucky, a pretty girl might come careening out of the pack and land right on your lap. What's not to love?

I think it's the dramatic soap operas that are going on between the wrestlers that attract a lot of people who otherwise would probably go see Shakespearean theater.
