Heads up to all who have an appointment through the new MNL call center scheduling system. I called 3/19 received confirmed appt for 4/22. Fiancee' received email with confirmation number.

Couple weeks later got a letter stating we're eligible for interview, thought it was an oversight. Today, the day she is heading to Manila to get her medical done a week early, I got another letter saying we're still eligible to call for interview. UH-OH. Checked the website, enetered her case number and there is no record of her appointment!!

So I called figuring I can straighten this out we have a confirmation number, right? Not so fast, I guess they throw those numbers out after giving them because they had no way to check on her confirmation number??!! And this is two hours before she is ready to travel there. After some hemming and hawing and checking, she says hmmm, well ok, I'll just make a note here that she can go to the interview. Huh?

So if I hadn't called she'd gone all the way there at great energy and expense and they would have turned her away at the gate!!

SO DOUBLE CHECK YOUR INTERVIEW DATES!!!

my interview is on april 22 too.

I havnt received mail that I can call USem to schedule my interview, I just learned it here in VJ.

We called usem call center 3/24, but the guy did not send me an confirmation for my interview... eventhough he got my email.

So what I did, I entered my case # in the appointment site and print it out.. it's shows my medical and interview schedule.

I went to St. Lukes yesterday for my 1st day medical exam, they ask me appointment letter. I said I don't have but I showed the print out from the appointment site. They let me in,,,

I will return today 2pm to get my xray result.

Hello all,

We never got the link to work to show the status of our interview.

http://203.177.135.10/ivappointment/login.asp

Our status never showed up on that.

However, they did sent me and my fiance a confirmation email for our interview on the 22nd of April at 7:30

After calling USEM again today, they said that the site isn't updated. But we already have our schedule.

Pretty crazy huh?

Yeah, that online appointment site could be crazy. I heard it could be down for several days to several weeks but maybe it is just being selective on whose appointment date to show and not to show. Some people had that site working for them in a matter of days some can't even make it work til the day of interview. It's really very unrealiable.

We first called for interview sched last week and then called again last monday for reschedule. the appointment site never worked last week but it works for me now but there is a slight discrepancy between the time on the confirmation email i received and the time indicated on the online appointment. The email said I am scheduled on May 21 at 7:30Am while the online appointment states that I am scheduled on May 21 at 7AM. Well, that 30minutes discrepancy doesn't really matter since I plan to be there around 6 to 6:30AM anyway.

Hi all,

I called the USEM call center yesterday and got an interview appointment of 5/20. They sent a confirmation email to my fiancee. However, the message only mentioned her interview at the embassy and not her medical appointment. Do I need to call the USEM back to schedule her medical appointment as well? Thanks.

No sir... had you inquired about medical when you called for the interview appointment, the call center agent would have told you to just go to St. Lukes and have the medical AT LEAST one week prior to interview ( your fiancee can take it even a month before interview without having to call SLEC or USEM) and also not to expect any packets because they will not be sending any packets to the applicant. The packet 4 can be downloaded at the USEM website.

Had you inquired about delbros verification fee, i don't know what kind of answer you would have received. We were told that: "Some people need verification, some don't, it is for the consul to decide".. that's it and nothing more from the call center guy.

Hello guys, how did you write the MNL case number there at the appointment website, I've tried many times, but it seems the reason that I'm getting that "case not found " is that I'm not writing/putting the correct case number, do I really need to include the exact words like this--MNL 2008-xxxxx there, what about the spaces? Thank you so much.

yes mam, you need to put everything.. NO space in between MNL & 2008.... it should be MNL2008XXXXXX.. some have suggested to use small case for MNL (so mnl na sya pagtype mo) but i used both the upper and the lower case dati walang resulta until last week, i tried both upper and lower case and pareho na may result... therefore i conclude that earth is indeed round

Don't stress out too much about the online appointment, magka-wrinkles ka lang, cge ka madaut ang byuti. As long as you have your confirmation email, you're good. Their online appointment site is not really working properly... if you want to ease your mind you can call embassy directly to check if your appointment sched is indeed in their data base.
