Scheduling the interview for an earlier date

Hey guys, long time, no post.

Tik's interview was scheduled for what seems like a very late date in relation to when we sent out our packet 3 response (nearly three months), so we were wondering if there's any way to call the embassy to attempt to receive a better date. Shot in the dark I'm sure, but thought we would try because it's really inconvenient for us, she wanted to move here in early June, but the interview isn't until May27th so that puts us in a bind as far as booking tickets now. Any info on cases where people have attempted, or possibly even succeeded in this would be helpful. Thank you.

ive just read of situations where visa applicants asked the embassy for a later date for the interview, not the other way around! im prety sure that there are no open appointments left earlier thats why your fiancees interview is so late.

Hey, long time no see.

Some consulates take longer than others.

Montreal for instance is looking like a 3 month wait as well.

I think if there was an earlier date, Tik would haven't gotten it.

I'd just be content with what you have and get ready for it.

The consulates will schedule you for a later date not an earlier one.

Basically, they slot interviews into available time slots as they become available. You likely received the next available interview date when they got to your file. There won't be earlier interview slots available - only later ones.

Hey I know of extreme cases where the interview was scheduled sooner, but they had to do with either your fiancce is 8 months pregnant or you are dying of cancer! I hate to break it to you but Other then that you will not be able to get it scheduled sooner! They do everything in the order they recieve it! Just be patient and your interview will be here before you know it

I emailed the Ankara embassy the same day our interview date was received and politely asked them for an earlier interview. They bumped us up 20 days without even asking for a reason.
