:goofy: So is there anyone out there that has been to Tampa for their biometrics in the last month or so? I was wondering if the process is slow there when you go for biometrics. Keith had his AOS biometrics in Birmingham when we lived there and it took about 45 minutes to an hour, but we are now in Tampa and will have the appointment on a Thursday at noon. I don't think you really should arrive much earlier as it doesn't do any good if your appointment is a specific time, but I was wondering once you get there how long has it been taking people to get through? I want to go with Keith but my daughter gets out of school at 3:00 and I have to be back in the Brandon area by 3:00. Also, since we still don't know our way around much (we've only been here four months), is the office easy to find? We haven't ventured into downtown Tampa at all. We've only been local (Brandon), the airport, and to the beaches. Thanks! :goofy:

My husband had his biometrics appointment last month in the Tampa office. It took him about an hour total. I don't think they allow anyone except the person with the appointment in the office. The office is actually very close to Brandon. If you are coming from Brandon via State Road 60/Adamo, it is before Highway 301. It's in a professional park and is pretty easy to find.

:goofy: Designermedusa - YEA! It is actually in Brandon - I just Googled it. I think what I was thinking about was the other office where you go for Infopass (can't even remember what that office is called, the local office). Anyhow, I think we MIGHT have to make an Infopass and go down there before May 12th when my husband's GC expires as we have not received our NOA1 extension letter extending his GC and they don't do that when you get your biometrics. Since his biometrics is May 1st, I'm not sure they would send a NOA1 in time so we might have to schedule the appointment a couple weeks before May 12th and then if we get the NOA1 just cancel. Have you guys been down to that office? :goofy:

The local office for the InfoPass is located in Tampa close to the airport. It's on Cypress, close to Westshore. We've been there many times for Infopass and then for the AOS interview. When we have went for InfoPass we usually haven't had to wait long, but we always got an appointment in the morning. Good luck, maybe you will get your NOA before then.
