oh and i changed your date for "entered mtl's waiting list" and you'll see that you were right within the range b/c they slacked off and took their time to enter you into the system

I know, doesn't that look funny? I saw the "55" days and thought, hey! I've been waiting longer than that! But I think that'll help everyone else guage theirs if they know their "elible" date as well.

I don't know if you'd be eligible yet, you'd have to call DOS and ask them. Mine took a long time before it did, but Liz averages 6 days for it to happen. Though Melusine's also took some time too; the spreadsheet says March 26 for them but they were actually April 8 as well.

I haven't booked our travel yet but looked up some options and want to ASAP... still waiting for Scott to come online tonight! But I did get ahold of him at work today and he was happy to hear the news.

How are you getting to Montreal? We are taking the train.

I'm beaming too!

I'm not positive but I'm thinking the train as well. It's cheaper than the bus and much more pleasant. And obviously much cheaper than flying. At that point I'll be looking at some time off so I can afford a day spent on the train as well.

Then after the interview we'll take the train together back to Toronto, and I'll help him pack up while we wait for the visa to arrive. Then we'll drive down with his stuff.
