I just wanted to share to my fellow Vj members and future member my experienced during my interview today.. this is only thing i can do to pay it forward to all the information from member of this forum who shared and help each other to their Journey...

My kids and I arrived at the US embassy around 5:45 am( not bad for 7am schedule) ..we fall in line at non immigrant in the middle lane ... but i noticed there is other lane with the sign board for K1 and K3..so i asked the guard to be sure..my instinct is right , that is the right lane for K3..the guard told us to wait on the other end where people stayed and just wait for a call for the next schedule to be entertain..by the way if you have no one with you , dont bring any gadgets such as phones and ipod they are strict with that..unfortunately, i did bring my kid cellphone..coz i know the last time we are there with my hubby..we just left our phones in the entrance..Now I found out that you are allowed to leave your cellphone at the entrance if you are or with the american citizen.. ..then go to the immigrant section and submit our appointment letter, DS 156 and DS157..by the way for DS157 for those who never travel outside the country # 9 you can put NONE

..then for # 10 Philippines..

after I submitted the forms they gave me a stub #6019...then seated ...wait for my number in the board to be called..then I was assign to window 14 with mark...he ask for my birthcert, NBI,death certificate of my late husband..then ask for my kids birthcert..also my hubby's affidavit of support and income tax return 2007..Mark also asked for our pictures together...He didnt ask for our marriage certificate, maybe they already have my documents from NSO coz i paid document verification 2 months ago thru metro bank..Mark was very nice to us

After the prescreening Mark told us to go to Window 16 for the finger scanning together with my eldest...then seated again wait for our number to the board..Dont forget to look at the board everytime it dings, it might be your number they are calling...while waiting for my final interview with the consul..I've got the chance to talked to some people there and watched TV where their showing the process to be follow for the interview..

At last #6019  on the board and i assigned to window 31..we waited for our turn and when we are about to go to the room..the consul said, that will be the last and she doesnt have any papers with her..so we went out and ask the officer there and transfered us to window 32..I greeted the consul " good morning "...then he ask me to raise my right hand to swear all the information i gave is true..he take a look all my documents..Here the questions he asked me:

My name

when did my late husband die?

where did i met my husband?

How many kids he have?

The reason of his divorced with previous marriages.

what does he do for living?

That's all the question he asked me then he looked at our pictures and returned it to me.. review all my papers then stamped...told me i passed..of course dont forget to say

" THANK YOU "..then we went out of the room..seated then after a minute ive heared my name from window 37 and gave me a pink slip for visa delivery..paid 750 for the 3 of us...then go to a nice restaurant and eat...ooppss I almost forgot my kid cellphone I left it to lina it cost me 150 pesos for that. dont bring any gadgets..unless you have car or someone with you..that you can leave it..

Thank you so much for VISAJOURNEY  it makes our journey easier with all the information and help posting here...Hoping for my visa soon...GOD Bless us all!!!!
