My liberal friends in NY say the same ####### themselves. I remember asking my friend how if I cannot get along with their ivy league ultra liberal kids, how in the hell do you think you guys are going to negotiate with someone like Iran. Enemy / history aside, you guys have absolutely nothing in common. Bin laden did not attack America because he is jealous of our freedom. When you actually listen to what he himself says I believe he basically hates liberal American and their ideals. I am willing to bet my life on it that he has no problem with some Southern Christians who go to work, look after their family and care about their community. If he or the Iranian president saw that they would realize there is not one America. The country is about as diverse as is food. Yet I bet they would not have the same reaction towards San FranShitsco. Why do you think that is?

I think that is the point you don't get. Whenever I have asked anyone of my Arabic friends why the absolutely hate America the stuff they usually bring up is stuff that basically describes the values of liberals in America. Sure these are only a few people but it is interesting to hear their views.

Bush was not elected with unanamious consent. Now his approval ratings are in the 20-30% range. Our current goverment does not represent the people. Of course he might represent you, but our country is not made up of people only like you. And its a good thing too, otherwise we would be just like Iran.

Enough about Bush. You guys have a three layer government system. Bush alone does not call all of the shots. Yet he seems to be the scapegoat. And don't give me any of this he is the commander and chief #######.

They dont have enough of a majority to override any of bush's veto's. So in essence they are only sort of in power. But just enough power to stop bush and the former Repbulican majority from being reckless.
