I am curious about the cup, though. I may need to just give it a try. If it doesn't work out, maybe I can sell it on eBay.

I guess there's no getting around the disposal-in-a-public-bathroom issue.

Since urine is sterile when it leaves the body(I think) it's actually better than tap water...

urine is considered not sterile once it exits the body the ahem, natural way. It's only sterile if u use sterile katheters, or take a sterile biopsy.

I think I've seen something on tv about this guy who drank his own urine and ate his deceaseds friends' butt in a survival situation, after they got lost in the woods. I'd rather die. and I'd rather look like the hunchback of notre dame than using my own pee for beauty purposes.....

ok who of you has tried self tanning cremes/sprays/showers? I'm in desperate need of some sort of tan!

Oh yeah, if anyone knows anything good for getting a tan when you're ghostly, let me know. Tanning beds, even at like 8 minutes, burn me. It's not worth the $$.

Also thinking of dying my hair more blond for San Diego...

I've tried the light tanning moisturizers, like Nivea sun kissed firming lotion with good results

Re: The Nuvaring, I was interested in trying that.. They haven't got it in the UK though... Don't you have to change it every few weeks though?

Re: Watersports - I have some friends who are into that  I DO NOT see the attraction :dead: But each to their own I suppose. (She has great pleasure in telling me about it too

Re: The Menstrual cup? Wouldn't that get extremely messy?

Oh and I use Dove shampoo :P

Alex, for the tanning, try a fake tan called Piz Buin, it is amazing :D Doesn't streak at all!

There is a typo in the thread title - it's actually the off topic body fluid thread!

I didn't like the Nuvaring. If your partner is quite large, he manages to pull it out during intercourse. Very unsexy. I don't mind taking the pill every night.

Mooncup is waaaaaaay to new age for me :) Just not on.

Regarding shampoos, I always use different ones, usually for dry or coloured hair. I never use conditioner as it only softens your hair. I use a hair mask evertime I was my hair. I only leave it in for a few minutes, while I wash myself and then rinse it.

Self tanner works well if you exfoliate under the shower first, then apply the self tanner and then apply body lotion on top of it. That will prevent the streaks.

That's all I have to say for now. Regarding the tampon issue...that wasn't me.

Embrace being pale! Well, actually, fake-tanning just sounds too complicated/expensive to me and I'd rather not have an actual tan as I'd like to not look wrinkled and leathery when I'm older. Plus I figure that in bright sunshine I'm going to look pretty white no matter what I do, so I'll just have to revel in it.

I have no problems taking a pill every night either. I've tried two different kinds and neither has affected me badly and I'm quite content to stay with the generic, free brand I have.

I've been using bar shampoo from Lush - it's great! It lasts ages and my hair is a little less greasy with it. I've also not used conditioner in aaaages, although I'm wondering if I should - my hair's been pretty tangly recently. It may just need a trim.

Well, I have a sh*tload of bleach in my hair and if I don't use conditioner then there is no way I could get a comb through it!

I haven't got a problem with taking a pill either really... Was just interested in how the nuvaring works and all... I am hoping that I will be able to get the pill that I am on here in America though  I take the mini pill and it's called Cerazette. Anyone heard of it?
