Herbal Essences sucks for curly hair... after a week of use it makes my hair frizzy and then the next morning greasy. Blech.

nessa I'm not using it. alex says my hair will be frizzy. it's already frizzy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH

Applying urine on the skin helps to heal many skin related problems. Some eg are acne, rashes, eczema, itch cause by allergy or insect bites, oily skin, athlete's foot, jellyfish stings......Simply dab urine on the areas that need attention, allow it to dry (you can wash the area with water later, but it is not necessary as it will not smell). You will notice that itches will stop very quickly. Eczema will take 2 to 3 weeks of daily application to heal. One suggestion is to apply urine 10 to 15 minutes before you take your shower.

Old urine are very effective for removing oil from your body and face. It will have a strong smell but no worries, it will not stay on you. Apply it on your (oily) face and rinse it with water. You can feel your face to be squeaky clean, no other products work better than your own urine. You don't have to believe me, find out for yourself. This is how you can go about doing it. Collect your urine in a bottle and leave for a least 3 days (mine are XO grade, I just top them when it gets low). Then apply and shower.

Not to turn the thread back to gory, but have any of you ladies (or anyone you know) used the menstrual cup? I'm curious about it but don't know anyone who has used one.

March 7, 2005: I-129F NOA1

September 20, 2005: K-1 Interview in London. Visa received shortly thereafter.

AOS

December 30, 2005: I-485 received by USCIS

May 5, 2006: Interview at Phoenix district office. Approval pending FBI background check clearance. AOS finally approved almost two years later: February 14, 2008.

Received 10-year green card February 28, 2008

I try to use organic/ayurvedic and cruelty-free products whenever possible and cheap. I like Freeman products because they are cruelty-free but cheaper than the brands you get at the health food store - they also smell nice. When I am in Nepal I stock up on ayurvedic shampoos, soaps and creams - I love Vicco turmeric cream and Medimix soap - alll the desis and DBM's will know what I am talking about :D I like Vatika lemon dandruff shampoo but I can't use it every time since it can be drying.

i use phyto specific shampoo and conditioner. very expensive, but totally fixed my hair after it was completely ruined in a bad choice of hair dresser when i first moved to NYC disaster! :ranting:

I am curious to try it on my upcoming trip since tampons are very hard to find in Nepal.

I would be afraid of trying to empty it out and spilling all over my clothes. Ugh. Definitely couldn't do anything with the diva cup in a public bathroom. And just...ick. But in Pattu Rani's situation, I'd choose it over pads. Pads are basically adult diapers, IMO, and I want no part of them!

I found the Nuvaring uncomfortable so I can't imagine I would be able to use the diva cup.

Most people are not comfortable with the idea of drinking urine.....don't force yourself to do it. If you are adventurous, take a few sip just to know what you own urine taste like. It has anti-bacterial property and can rid you of bad breathe.

my friend says that if your husband ummmm...how to put it nicely...soils your insides at the end of sex? :lol: to insert small tampon (such as OB no applicator) for an hour or so to soak up the mess. otherwise you might have something run down your leg if you sneeze later in the day. oh btw this friend is julie so shoot her :lol:

July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE
