I only receive nice PM's or those where someone may have a question that they don't want to ask in public. I haven't received any negative PM's at all. Which is no surprise seeing that I am always so positive. :innocent:

10/26/2006- Consulate receives case (seriously, one month to receive the case?? BS!), and packet 3 that I sent even before they had received the case.

01/02/2007- Interview!!!!!!!!!!!!! Got a 221(g)

01/23/2007- Second Interview. VISA granted!!!

01/29/2007- VISA arrived.... no envelope though. I'm gonna contact them and see what happened this time!

01/31/2007- I'll have to send them one last financial support evidence.

02/01/2007- Evidence sent

02/02/2007- Evidence received by Consulate

02/06/2007- Consulate sends envelope!

02/07/2007- Envelope received!!!

02/10/2007- Flew to the USA!!!!!!

04/17/2007- Wedding day!!!

i think the negative PMs are a combo of things...

ignorance

boredom

malice

stupidity

immaturity

bigotry

cowardice

bullying

i've never gotten a bad one since i'm fairly harmless and tend to kill threads rather than incite anyone's ire. :blush:

the people that resort to this kind of silly and pointless intimidation need to get off this board and go somewhere where like-minded people are (if there is a a$$hole forum or something). :whistle:

every so often we see posts about waves of bad energy. getting through these USCIS processes is frustrating and stressful for the majority of VJers, so i usually just ignore it when people get touchy. but when they are vicious and out of line, they need to be reported asap. there is no room on VJ for people who can't have a reasonable amount of respect for the other members.

Adjustment of Status

July 1 2006 - Sent EAD & AOS packet

Sept 19 2006 - EAD APPROVED

Sept 22 2006 - AOS APPROVED

Sept 23 2006 - EAD card arrived

Sept 29 2006 - GC arrived!!!

Well he doesn't like me very much.

Finally finished with immigration in 2012!

Aymerlu I can't understand why anyone would be so mean-spirited and yes cowardly to send a nasty PM like that - if they have something to say they should say it in front of everyone.
