I so have never gotten a nasty PM.

As far as the mood on here... I don't know. I think a lot of people need to learn that tone isn't something you'll ever get on the net (so you miss a lot of sarcasm) and that even when some of us are arguing a point to the death there is a certain amount of respect there, and that's all it is: a debate. No biggie.

However, I will say there are some nasty people that pop up out of nowhere (TROLLS) that like to stir up poo. (different from flinging poo cuz we all have fun with that). Those people are nasty.

If I made any sense congratulate me, I'm running on 3 hours sleep and I'm trying hard to stay awake right now

I have to back crazyinegypt on this one. I get at least 2 very rude PMs a week basically telling me how stupid I am to be with an arab/muslim man, etc. I know of a couple others here that do not come on VJ anymore because of the same reason. I've just learned to ignore them.

yup. report 'em and block 'em. And like in my case they could be coming from the same person and Wookie or Ewok will be able to tell and will ban the IP so they can't create another ID.

I don't think it's just trolls.... some people are just cracked...maybe the visa process cracks 'em too much...

I was just talking today to meriem about this too.... I dont feel that anyone should feel uncomfortable expressing their opinion, however as long as they do it in a constructive kind of way. I may feel differently than a lot of other people on different subjects, but I don't take personal offense to it, and I actually appreciate the different viewpoints. These different viewpoints give me a perspective that I may not have ever thought of, and it actually may change my opinion on things in light of new information. Many of us have things to say, and honestly, HOW you say it makes a difference.
