I got a question though..would the AOS bill and IV bill would be sent together now, or do we still have to wait for the IV bill to be generated to do that after the AOS fee is paid??

* Payment by Mailing a Cashier's Check or Money Order (Option 2):

I got IIN yesterday and still could not make the payment online. The system is still yet available.

The Online Payment FAQ says that both can be paid at once but I can tell you that right now the automated phone system still says, "The affidavit of support fee bill must be sent to the St Louis facility with the correct fees before any further action can be taken on your case," which would leave one to believe that you'd have to pay the AOS fee bill before you could do anything else but others in this thread state that this isn't the case.

Those of you who have called and gotten your IIN's, is it the same IIN number for both transactions (the AOS fee bill and IV bill)?

I have also been trying to make a payment online and the system is still unavailable for me as well even though I have my IIN. Any answers from the operators or email as to when the system might be up?

O.k...I had emailed the NVC and got a response today, but alas the response doesn't help any. Because my case is not with the NVC they will not give me any info.

I hope someone who can get info will be able to share what they learn with others on the board.

Has anyone tried the NVC online payment option? Does this option save anytime or not?

i just called the nvc myself and asked about the onilne payment. the nvc is not set up for online payment at this time. and the lady i talk to did not know when it will be working. i was really hopeing it was working myself so i could use it to pay my fee bill. sorry for the bad news. i just had my wife e-mail the ds-3032 to the nvc to save some time.

As of 04/11/08, the online payment system has not been activated yet. I called NVC and chatted with a rep. She said she has no idea when it'll be up and running. This sucks! I'm hoping it'll be working pretty soon as I'll be gone for weeks with no way to check mail for the IV bill to send back.

Anyone try the online payment system today? The person I talked to at the NVC made it sound like the system is already active, but she didn't know for sure. I tried to get my IIN and she stated that the IIN is the same for both the AOS fee bill and the IV bill, to answer my question from before. She wouldn't (or couldn't) give me my IIN though! She just said I already paid my AOS fee bill and I'd have to wait to receive my IV bill in the mail to get my IIN! She did confirm that my IV bill and I-864 are being generated today. Perhaps tomorrow after it is generated for sure and in their mailroom they'll give it to me, I hope!

Okay, thanks for the update. If they do get it up and running and they still won't give me my IIN, I won't be too happy!

Oh, almost forgot! Just an FYI for whomever, when you call the NVC now, they're collecting e-mail addresses to add to their file. I don't know if this means automatic updates via email or what. My beneficiary had already e-mailed them the DS-3032 before so I suppose they already have hers but they asked for mine today for the first time. I just found that interesting...

That's great news. I just called NVC for an update as usual on Tuesday and found out that my IV bill has been generated. However, I can't get through the line to talk to an operator in person due to daytime peak hours to get my IIN. Anyway, I shot them an email in the meanwhile to ask for IIN before calling them again tonight. As soon as I get my IIN, I'll test the online method.

Finally got my IIN from the NVC. It was like pulling teeth! She kept telling me the online system wasn't ready yet. I told her I knew someone who was able to pay online and she just said "No". I asked if I could have it so I could keep trying it until it actually works and she finally gave it up. So I tried it right now to pay my IV bill and I got the transaction failed because the payment system isn't online. =(
