:help: I was told by NVC on 3/25 and got an e-mail on 3/26 that an interview date has been scheduled for 5/6 @0930 am and that further instructions will be mailed to the agent. To date I have not received the letter and I am at a loss as to what to do about this situation. Any suggestions? :help:

He has already scheduled his medical for 4/16 approx 2 weeks before the interview date. I had planned on sending him the letter with updated financial info DHL hoping he gets all he needs for the medical and interview. Now I don't know what to expect or what to do :crying::crying::crying:

Does anyone know if the NVC mails the letter or it it the embassy that does? Do they mail it to the agent, petitioner or beneficiary?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Just got off the phone with the NVC operator who tole me that the interview letter was mailed on 3/24. Mailed does not take that long to get from NH to NC. Wanna bet it was generated that day and they only mailed it out last week? These people are really unbelievable. They claim it was mailed to petitioner, beneficiary and agent. I really do hope one of us gets it. At least I know that my SO won't get his--he has not received one piece of mail from NVC since July 2007.

Oh well, what to do????

I thought you need the letter to get into the Embassy for the interview...so isnt it really important? At least the Embassy in Kingston asks for letter before you can enter the Embassy right?

Karla, the NVC operator told me the lettermwas mailed on 3/24 and non one has yet received it. He went on further to say it is bullk mailing and could have been delayed in the mail room. I am guestimating thye might have only mailed it last week when the case was forwarded to my embassy on 4/1. Just have to hope I get it soon, so I can send it to Ja.

The interview letter is needed to be able to get the medical done and also to be let into the embassy for the interview although the security people have your name on a list.

The letter is in fact very important even though it has no other information but the interview date. You need it to get your medical done and to be let into the embassy. So I deem it very important althoug it does not contain much info

I know I read somewhere awhile back that the interview letter is mailed out a month before the scheduled interview. I can't find it anywhere though.

The agent copy got sent within the U.S. got sent pretty quickly; got it 2 days after they scheduled the interview.

The beneficiary copy in the international country took quite some time longer. NVC seems to be sending mail internationally by using DHL's Deutsche Post World Net service. Not exactly sure how that service works, but the notice arrived in the ordinary mail about 3 weeks after the interview was scheduled, still just in time.

I believe you could FAX the agent copy if the original doesn't make it to the foreign country in time.

I was told that the letter was mailed on 3/24 that was three weeks ago and neither the beneficiary, the petitioner nor the agent has received it. The petitioner and agent lives in the US. No mail within the US takes that long to get to the recipient. At least I have a back up plan.

Possibly. But that is really strange even if they take a week to mail it out, the maile should not take two weeks to get to us. Wonder what is going on?

Do you have all your documents ready and are just waiting for the barcoded coversheet? Have you tried generating your own coversheet?
