Firstable, Don't be so sensitive!!! because usually people will never undertand what we went throu with this immigration process. When people ask me if I miss my country I used to say "NO" and after, I start telling them that I don't miss my mom, brothers, friends, partys, beachs, etc and just after I ask "WHAT DO U THINK" ! ! ! ! ! ! (silly question, isn't it)

c u later

That really sucks that your boss would act that way. Why would anyone think you would purposely go through a harder method if you didn't have to - that would just be stupid.

When we started out at this whole thing, I really didn't tell anyone much of anything about it. In fact since I had just started at a new job and I didn't want to seem like I was always complaining, I didn't even tell co-workers how James was coming over, just said, my fiance's from Ireland and is getting a visa, and no one asked many questions. I just started to talk more about the process and what his specific visa is to my co-workers and I am lucky, a woman who's been teaching at the school forever married an Englishman and got a K-3 years ago, so she kinda backs me up about the process and there has been no doubt. One of the reasons I started opening up a bit was that not talking about the process gets you in trouble too... I have a lot of friendly older women in my school who are always asking about what James is doing and I could tell that the fact that he still was just 'working around the house' made them think he was a lazy bum I would be supporting all my life. I mean, I had always said, well we are waiting for this, that and the other thing, but I thing they were starting to think it was all excuses, now that I have opened up more and explained things, they seem to understand and sympathize with him. So basically, whatever you say there will be people who question you and it sucks, but thats why we have VJ for support! (F)
