Ann Coulter? I don't like the woman's politics (to put it mildly) but even if I did, I wouldn't parading her around as a conservative centerfold. Seriously neocons, stick with Michelle Malkin. I find her almost as repulsive as Coulter, but if we're going on straight up looks then she's probably your better bet.

I worked as an IT consultant for an adult video production company for about 6 months. Some of the most well adjusted people I've ever met are porn stars. Yes there were a few flakes (mostly the guys) but most of them take their jobs and their careers seriously, but don't take themselves too seriously. I even went to a couple parties where it was pretty much porn actors and industry workers, and it was like any other semi-upscale party you've ever been to. No orgies, no drama, no "Jackie Treehorn" babes being tossed in a blanket. Just normal people having a good time. I think most porn actors and industry workers are just normal people like you and me, who don't have the hangups a lot of us have about our own bodies and sexuality. The fact that there's a boatload of money to be made helps a little.

Not having hangups about bodies and sexuality helps you have a healthier sex life. It doesn't normally lead to having sex for money. Would you say the same thing about street hookers? These are hookers who are also exhibitionists.

I also think prostitution should be legalized. Don't make assumptions.

I'm sorry about what I said about Mary Carey. The point wasn't to judge her, but to point out that she comes off in interviews and on TV as unstable, unsure of who she is, and completely lacking in self-worth and confidence. When people look at women with big boobs and make sex jokes (gov't fcuking you, you'd enjoy it), and ignore their problems, that kinda bugs me.

Once again, I said in my experience. I never said they're all well adjusted. If I had to guess (and it would only be a guess) I'd say that the rate of "well-adjusted" (whatever that means) porn stars tracks pretty closely with the national average. But you're right, I don't know for sure. I can only go on my personal experience. I seriously doubt, however, that they were all on their best behavior simply because some computer guy was hanging around trying to setup a server farm.

As a society we should be promoting people become doctors, scientists, humanitarians etc. People who will actually help the human race rather than taking it back 5,000 years to the pointless era of self gratification.

As a society I think we should be promoting people to be what they want to be. If they want to work in porn, I think society shouldn't have a problem with that. In fact, society de facto does support them, we just don't like to talk about it. In terms of not only income but in units sold, the porn industry eclipses Hollywood, the game industry, and any other entertainment industry in the world. The very people who condemn them are the very people buying their products.

Anything taken to the extreme is harmful, but there's nothing wrong with self-gratification. Humans have been doing it for more than 5,000 years. We were doing it back when we were still living in trees.
