Hey,

I have an advance parole travel doc issued due to a family emergency in Australia. I am now back in the USA. My application for AOS is pending. My question is how may times and how often can I use the travel document? What problems could occur if I use it to go to Canada on a weekend about once a month?? Thanks for any help on this matter, I don't want to screw up my application :-)

You can use it as often as you wish. The only restriction is the expiry date. My home in Canada is not far from the border, and I have been back and forth three times in a matter of a few days. I definitely gave the AP a good workout. Although long term absences may impact any future plans for naturalization.

Can I leave the US multiple times and return?
