However, I am such a nervous wreck from all the jerking around I got before, that I can't deal with it (call the Embassy to confirm or call my husband even).

I just feel I will jinx it by calling or getting hopeful.

Ya I got a good idea for the both of us. Stop doing anything. I haven't called DOS in over 20 days and I'm proud of it. Anyway we both know that we must be informed of whats happenning, thats part of being a responsible human being. Tell your husband, it will help him prepare earlier mentally and get the financial stuff cleared up and not have that same problem of not having things wrapped up again. Ya no embassy, I suggest DOS, they can tell you the visa has been issued better than the embassy, or faster than the embassy.

Personally I can't hear another "Pending, ma'am" again so I am staying away from it. BUT because the case number came, things are moving well. He may be called any time to go back.

Hang in there, no evil can touch you and jinxing is only for the believer. We are paranoid of bad news thats what it is, cause since december 2006 there has not been a moment of peace.

I feel though that things are coming to an end. March saw a lot of goodness, April/May/summer will show us ours.

Hold tight girl, tell him n call DOS. Everything will be ok soon.

I didn't push the calling embassy idea because our is impossible to get through, especially about a visa issue. If your consulate is better at answering calls please do call.

i can understand you not wanting to get excited after all you've been through in this crazy, ridiculous process.

but i'm gonna be excited for you. i hope it means things are moving again, inchallah...
