After NOA2- a bit confused

Ok, I've read the faqs and flowcharts and forums but I'm still not completely sure what i need to be doing. We got approval notice NOA2 and the letter saying the case has been forwarded to the consulate in Brazil. I am getting all of my financial information together, a new letter of intent, updated evidence of our relationship, etc, plus a copy of the entire first package to send to my fiancé, but I'm a little bit confused about what he needs to be doing. Does he need to get the medical and the police report BEFORE the interview? And what EXACTLY is he looking for, I know there must be some specific exam/ some specific document. But I have not figured out what those are.

Do I need to send my financial documents anywhere else or just to him???

I would just like to know better precisely what I need to be doing, rather than just kind of knowing.

Perhaps I missed a more specific post about this.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

After NOA2 USCIS will send the petition to Department of State (NVC) they will assign a case number, and send it on to the consulate in the foreign country.

The consulate will then send out an instruction packet telling foreign citizen to gather things like Police Cert, Birth Cert, etc...

You will send I-134 along with supporting financial evidence and send to fiancee for interview.

Medical will also be done before interview at a medical facility specified in the instruction or invitation packet.

I was under the impression that the case didn't get fowarded to the foreign embassy untill AFTER the case is completed at NVC? Is this not true?

Our interview is April 29.

Eunice completed her physical April 9 in Brazilia, stay away from there for the physical, wound up costing a bundle, and yes I have the receipts, do not believe the $100 U.S. quoted in packet 4.

Packet 3 and 4 are the same here.

The packet has a form DS 2001 which states it must be sent back to the Consulate to schedule tghe interview, yet the cover letter has the interview date and time.

We a checking with the consulate on this one.

We have the Police check Federal and state, medical exam and all the other papers on the required list.

Getting to the Citibank to pay the fee is now the last hurdle.

Was goint to pay it on my way through Rio on the 22, but that is a Holiday

Will have to do it onn my way back through on April 28, then to the consulate on April 29.

This whole thing has Eunice in tears half the time, she is trying to understand it, that is impossible.
