When I was 21, some 5 years ago I was convicted with "Driving without due care and attention or consideration for other road users". Does anyone know if this will cause any problems with the Police Certificate stage of the process?

I know its early on as we only sent our petition off on Saturday just trying to get everything in place while I'm still in the US with Megan.

No, traffic offenses are not considered criminal in nature (unless you were charged with one like hit-and-run etc.) and do not constitute any problem in this process - one doesn't even have to declare them in the AOS form for example. Good Luck

Just been thinking about this. I had to go to court for this though, will I need to obtain a court record even although I only received 6 penalty points and a 240GBP fine?

No probably more of a problem you being a sweaty sock...but i would say that being a naturalised englishman ;)

See you are in Pittsburgh, spent my first 7 years in the country there, love the place, you'll enjoy it...take it you've found Piper's pub, I love their scotch eggs!
