Hi

I am not so happy lately but i try to be. I was told by senator and congress that my husband background checks are not clear. Mind you i have filed since june for I130 and oct i filed k3, still nothing but its pending. I have yet to see anyone in security checks from africa forum at this level when its still at uscis. Also I was told that my case had been transferred to vermont center per senator aide, she said they are splitting the petitions now cant see y mine would be since I did it before the rush in july. She said she believe mine got caught in the shuffle. Mom said I received a letter from washington's senator office saying i am waiting security clearance and if i dont get a decision within 6-8mos to let them know. What is this mos ppl go through this at nvc or embassy right?. I know it can happen but i was reading that uscis level only does paper review of petition they leave it up to state level and interviewer to go in depth with checks etc. I dont know what the hold up is I know my husband worked as a technician engineer per se he fixes things not a programmer or anthing like that ..... I just left nigerian in dec now my hubby wants me to come back I was waiting for the approval to go stay there for a couple months but i dont think its a good idea after talking wth a few ppl.
