Dec. 08th/05 Recieved Snail mail letter for AOS Interview Feb 15th 7:40 AM.

Feb. 15th. /06 AOS Interview SUCCESS !!!! no more to deal with for another 2 yrs!

Feb. 27th./06 Recieved Greencard in the mail

August 4th/06 Our First Wedding Anniversary !!

Feb. 8th 08 Sent in Packet to remove conditions

Feb 23rd 08 Recieve NOA letter stating they are extending my Greencard for another year.

March 11th 08 biometrics appt.

May 29th 08 recieved email stating Card production ordered

June 7th 2008 10 yr card recieved.

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

How about those Cap!!! Exciting game!! Think they play an afternoon game tomorrow on NBC

Evan a 49 save performance by Gerber wasnt enough for the Senators!!

Great game despite the Caps falling apart in the second and the damn Flyers fans in front of me and behind me. They quickly shut up in the 3rd. :lol: Actually I was really impressed with the Caps fans. Besides the ones near me, I barely saw any Flyers fans - a huge change from previous games I have been too - and the Verizon Center was rocking! I was deaf and hoarse by the end of it all.

Can't wait for Sunday. Go Caps!

The Caps game was amazing!!!

THAT'S Playoff hockey!

Hubby, who watches hockey but is still learning says to me when it was tied 4-4 "Do you think it will go to a shootout?" I said, "Honey, this is the playoff, there are No shootouts!" :lol:

Got to meet Elliot from Elliot in the morning over at RFD, chatted with him and his famous wife Jackie. Met Diane, and the rest of the class too.

Hubby even got his hair done in a mohawk over at RFD for Rock the Hawk. :lol:

I met Elliot at a Safeway in the Fall! lol I just went up and said Ienjoyed his show and that I was a Canuck as well! And that was it,lol Didnt want to pester him!! I dont listen that much to him any more, I prefer the Junkies on 106.7

They dont have a huge female following,lol The show I really lliked is the Don and mike show which comes on at 1500, BUT Don has now departed! Friday was his last day, big time personal problems I guess!! Again, another show with a small female crowd,lol

Thats 1 thing about OV I enjoy, he gets soooo excited when he scores, if any of his teammates score! Total team player!

I absolutely LOVE Don and Mike. Hubby and I listen(ed) to them on the way home from work every day.

Too bad for Don, I wasn't around when Frieda died, but it was nice to hear him talk about her or hear her on the Best of.

I guess we'll continue to listen to the Mike O'Meara show, with Beth Ann McBride and of course Rob and Buzz (Michael Ellesner, as Buzz Burbank! You, Me, Bar, Beers, Buzz) :lol:

Friday was the last show with Mike!! They all sat around and cried and stated how much they loved each other :dead:

I'm sure it will still be a good show without him, we shall seeeeeeeeeee Who knows, down the road he may return!! He did say yesterday about eventually returning to radio!!
