My Flames squeaked into the playoffs, whewwww They had me worried for a bit!! Unfortunately they face the red hot San Jose Sharks!! Hopefully Kipper gets and stays hot!!

The team that i'm really excited to watch is the Capitals!! They are a fun team to watch! As much as I love Crosby, I think I would pick Ovechkin!! Solid 2 way player, and man does he ever get excited when they score!!

Caps start off against philly, i believe they tied the season series 2-2, but one of the Caps wins was in a shoot out. probably not going to any of the games!1 rather stay in the comforts of my house and drink cheap beer, vice $7 for 1 at the game, lol

To good hockey!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied, that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

D and I will be there Friday night - woot! Not planning on drinking any beer at the Verizon Center though, lol. I may have to eat my words that Washington is not a hockey town. The last few games that we have been at, the place has been rocking!

If my Isles can't be in it, Go Caps!

Yeah, there def seems to be more than a few fair weather fans here, that's for sure. Try being an Islander fan since the late 80's! :jest:

Of course the Capitals are the only team I can watch on television, so hoping they do go far. Going to be too busy for a couple of weeks to be able to watch any of the games I am thinking (Go Caps Go). I would love to go to a game, another reason I want them to stay in longer cause I can't go right now, LOL.

Are they still playing?

It's baseball season.

Life's just a crazy ride on a run away train

You can't go back for what you've missed

So make it count, hold on tight find a way to make it right

You only get one trip

So make it good, make it last 'cause it all flies by so fast

You only get one trip
