That was exactly it...if my oldest didn't sleep in bed with me, I'd have never gotten any sleep. I was up and down all night but once I gave up on the crib he and I both got more sleep. My youngest was a bit more cooperative as an infant so he did well in a crib. Everyone wanted me to "get those kids in their own beds" but it worked better for all of us if we just slept together. My youngest will still climb in bed with me to fall asleep before my husband gets home from work. When he gets home, he carries Aimen to his room and tucks him into his own bed.

About babies in beds. My oldest slept in our bed pretty much from birth until not too long ago. My ex and I were always concious about where he was in the bed. If we felt him slipping down under the blankets we'd grab his little diapered butt and push him back up. :) My youngest slept in his crib until he was about 13 months old. He decided to escape one morning and fell out. He refused to stay in his toddler bed so he joined us in our bed. It got to the point where I would sleep in one bed with my youngest and my ex would sleep in another with my oldest. This will sound nuts but they didn't get out of my bed until just before my husband arrived last year. They were 9 and 10.

When and if we do have a child together, my husband and I do plan on having a crib and trying to stick to it.

yeah, i don't know how i would have managed night-time nursing without co-sleeping. i slept differently, almost like not fully losing consciousness when ollie would be in bed with me, but still managed to be fairly rested. he wanted his own bed when he turned 2 though. every couple months or so he'll have a night where he wants someone in his bed until he falls asleep, but every other night his stuffed polar bear or webkinz dog are enough company for him :)

if it's safe and comfortable and happy for your family, who cares if other people think yr nuts.

Feeling like pure hell today. When I left the party last night, I wasn't feeling too well. Went straight to bed and didn't wake up till 630. I have been having severe cramping all day and the pain keeps causing the sweats. So this day hasn't been much fun at all. Doc told me to triple up on the birth control pills to try to get me to the ultrasound 2morrow. He said that more than likely he's gonna have to do a D&C but wants to get a good look inside first. I'm sooooooooooooooooooooooo tired of being tired and hurting.

I hope u all have a super fantastic day! 4 more hours and I get to go home..woohoo!

anyone remember who the chipmunks girlfriends were?? lets see if u can remember from last night or if the hookah got too ya!

Aww I really wish you feel better! Good that we'll find out tomorrow about everything, the sooner the better. See I should have remembered that answer...all I can remember is arrows n smoke n dinglehoppers...oi!

Love,

Sorry I left the slumber party so fast, but i haven't felt good all weekend. I've had a sore neck and shoulder with the pain shooting down my arm. (went to doc again). I have to start physical therapy, for muscles spasms. I always seem to miss the fun too. Amal i sure hope you feel better soon and the doc finds something out tomorrow. It still wouldn't surprise me if you had fibroyds. And i left my youngest one in our bed til he was 8. He ended up with issues of not being able to go to stay overs for several years and other things. But he is 18 now and has no problems. Good form of birth control tho. HAHAHA

Congrats to wahrania!

I'm cranky, irritable, miserable and have four weeks left of school and I'm overwhelmed with the amount of work I have to complete. It's the end of the semester crunch!

I'm going home to do some midnight oil burning and eat that last box of Girl Scout Cookie's "Thin Mints".

I may be taking a break from VJ for awhile so I may stay focused & not provide rants on here.

Olivia, sometimes a break is good. But don't worry about the rants, we all have em.

::There’s a laugh in my eyes::

There’s a waltz in my walk

And it’s been such a long time

Since there was hope in my talk

If you never knew

What it is that’s new.. it’s you

‘Cause when your hands are in mine

You set a fire that everyone can see

And it’s burning away

Every bad memory

To tell you the truth

If it’s something new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

The world’s a different place

Where nothing’s too hard to say

And nothing’s too hard to do

Never too much to go through

To tell you the truth

Everything that’s new.. baby it’s you

It’s you in the morning

It’s you in the night

A beautiful angel came down

To light up my life

My life, my life

Ohh

So if I get to grow old (oh if I get to grow old)

With many years behind me (many years behind me)

There’s only one thing I want (aahh)

One thing I need beside me

For all that you are

For everything you do

For all that you’ve done

Just for showing me the truth

::It’s you...It’s you...Baby it’s you::
