Happy Monday everyone - thank you everyone for your wishes and prayers, boy do I still need them...this is the gist of waht I gather happened yesterday..and bare w/me I am operating on 2 hrs of sleep and well nerves are a bit shot!! - so there was some problem w/the receipt for the application fee - that is put in the bank there - T said that the woman told him that he needed a new receipt or to repay and sorry that he would need to come back another time for an interview - - huh?! And he ? her if things are not in order why do I have this interview, I paid this fee..I have all papers...and he went to the bank at the embassy and they told him he was all set...so - - I am not sure if he ? for another receipt...and he was so so upset and sad that I really couldnt have a great conversation last night...so here is what I plan to do:

1. have him get a new receipt and send this and old one (if he has it to me)

2. i emailed the embassy already

3. I will contact my senator as well.....

so has anyone heard of such a thing? Anybody have any suggestions or something more I should do?? Right now I feel like blech...10 months since we filed....and I guess we need another interview..Hey do I get another slumber party?! hahaha...okay see here is my way to spin a positive!!! And I have more time to clean........

I hope everyone is having a good day:) Melinda

Goodmorning Mena.... Well tonight my hubby gets on the plane and will be here tomarrow  I have been working all night to make the house sparkle. So I can just focus on me today. The driver will be here at noon tomarrow to pick me up and off to the air port  (the dog and suit cases wont fit in that damn little tiny mustang) And driving to the city makes me real nervous. And I took the week off so I can spend time with Medo

Well gals and Charles have a great day.

With all our might we tried to defeat our sworn enemy, the Embassy, but to no avail. They had a weapon we were not familiar with nor prepared for. We took things for granted that we knew them and could easily beat them at their own game. But ! Back to the battle plans, Melinda! I will study maps and we will break through their weak line once we find it! Onward to victory! We may be stuck down, but we are by no means destroyed!

I remember this feeling well. I had all these scenarios going through my head...he was going to be on his way to the airport when his passport falls out of his pocket into a pit of quicksand, or a giant bird would swoop down from the sky and snatch it from his pocket, etc.
