But of course, in world university rankings, Australia only has one school in the top 100, and it's only number 47. Maybe it's your inferior Australian education, since rankings are so important. ;)

Rankings are not important. Awards are important. Have they won any International Awards lately?

Well there wasn't much to work with - what should I do with that highly intellectual statement?

So stop making assumptions based on a sentence. You do it all the time actually.

According to the Internal Revenue Service, the 400 richest American households earned a total of $US138 billion, up from $US105 billion a year earlier. That's an average of $US345 million each, on which they paid a tax rate of just 16.6 per cent.

Someone needs to start a Boo-Yah drinking game where when the quality of life of Syndey and Melbourne are brought up you have to take shot.

maybe we should make this a standard thing at vj meetups

I'd love to be part of a conversation with BY in person, and a bar would be the place to hear him. :P

 So what - I should let that slide?

No it just proves that you are biased and foolish.

Like thinking I have no MA because I don't sit here and justify it to you. What makes you think I would waste my time proving anything to some anonymous loser over the net. I write what I write. If you agree with it great if you don't; oh well then. Do you actually thinking I am going to waste even a second proving my background because you ridicule me and say I don't have something.

You should have to "waste even a second" proving that you have a degree; it should just be clear by what you write. If you didn't write such asinine things that show know understanding of economics, nobody would question your degree.

 It speaks for itself. Unfortunately.

I'm willing to believe you have a BA though perhaps not in economics. Or would that be a BS? ;)

Well, if I claimed to have a PhD in Maths and then argued that 2+2=5, you would be right to question my credentials.

ahh Once again a big mistake many make. I know absolutely nothing about PH, #6, rlk47 etc so why would I sit here and explain anything to them. Hence why my responses to their posts are usually one line sentences.

I too can play the rebut everyone of their posts game and bring up the past.

Who cares what you believe. If I did I would have proved these things to you a long time ago..

So, is what you are saying now is that you deliberately make yourself look stupid because you can't be bothered to reveal the 'intelligent real you' on this message board?

Ok, got it.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

I don't much care either, to be honest. But then I don't go around trumpeting my qualifications to all and sundry - all the while making statements illustrating my lack of specific knowledge.

Like the one about all the wealth in a city being evenly distributed - because why else would the top 10 poorest and top 10 most crime ridden cities not match up 100%

If there's a plan there, I'm missing it....

I like that approach you use every time. One of you brings education up then it turns out I am the one "trumpeting my qualifications".

I'll leave you to your assumptions..

Why because I don't respond to BS posts. Is that not a given?

You cannot ridicule someone and then expect them to answer let alone take anything you say seriously.
