I just called DoS. Montreal hasn't even opened up my package 3 and put it into their system yet. I sent it a week ago.

They are always so slow.

I know we will get one, it's just driving me crazy to have absolutely no idea when! As CBR said, even just knowing the ballpark timing would be helpful (i.e. if anyone on our waiting list got a date).

I am not going to have any fingernails or hair left by the time we get our date.

I know whatcha mean Rae!! I have 2 kids graduating, moving this weekend to a new house (not related but a stress), both kids and both my parents bdays are in May and June!!! I can't make a single plan for any of it and it's killing me. Not to mention trying to make wedding plans. Luckily we are going to have a private ceremony at our new house and then celebrate with family later in summer when we have the luxury of planning something.

Sheesh, I thought I was obsessed before waiting for that noa2, now I'm worse!! I think because now the wait is for something that actually impacts my immediate future & planning. If I knew for sure my interview would be later June or even July I could make plans. But the second I did I betcha we'd get an interview for the first week of June or something. And that's #1 on my list!!

I am a total planner and this is really exercising my patience.

I agree, this wait is totally different from the noa2 b/c it really does mean something once it's over. I knew that after the noa2 all we really had was more waiting to do. I mean, yes, gathering of more paperwork & such, but not planning big things. This time around, it's the real deal! The visa! Then the move & the marriage. And if our parents want to come to city hall (though we'll have a real wedding later, they will probably all want to), we'd love to be able to tell them when that might be. Right now it's just "no clue, hopefully sometime this summer".

Okay, enough bitching for now.

Actually...I live with my folks.

When I moved back home after my divorce I totally got rid of.

All my stuff is organized in the garage ready to be loaded into the uhaul.

I did a huge overhaul on my clothes about 2 months ago.

I'm all organized and ready to move really.

I could start packing I guess....LOL

Hi,

I'm new here but just wanted to add this...

Just had my medical this morning at Dr. Seiden's in Toronto and I brought my appt letter. They ask for it- even on their website- but someone did not have hers and they still proceeded to do the medical. I think they'd prefer it. Of course don't forget the passport, photos, cash $185 and updated immunizations. My advice is get there early(I was there at 7am and the second one in line). They took me in around 7:20am and I got out by 8:30am.
