May 7,2007-USCIS received I-129f
July 24,2007-NOA1 was received
April 21,2008-K-1 visa denied.
June 3,2008-waiver filed at US Consalate in Panama
The interview went well,they told him it will take another 6 months for them to adjudicate the waiver
March 3,2009-US Consulate claims they have no record of our December visit,nor Manuel's interview
March 27,2009-Manuel returned to the consulate for another interrogation(because they forgot about December's interview),and they were really rude !
April 3,2009-US Counsalate asks for more court documents that no longer exist !
June 1,2009-Manuel and I go back to the US consalate AGAIN to give them a letter from the court in Colon along with documents I already gave them last year.I was surprised to see they had two thick files for his case !


June 15,2010-They called Manuel in to take his fingerprints again,still no decision on his case!
June 22,2010-WAIVER APPROVED at 5:00pm
July 19,2010-VISA IN MANUELITO'S HAND at 3:15pm!
July 25,2010-Manuelito arrives at 9:35pm at Logan Intn'l Airport,Boston,MA
August 5,2010-FINALLY MARRIED!!!!!!!!!!!!
August 23,2010-Filed for AOS at the International Institute of RI $1400!
December 23,2010-Work authorization received.
January 12,2011-RFE

Met online November 2005 playing City of Heroes

First met in Canada, Sept 22, 2006 <3

September 2006 to March 2008, 11 visits, 5 in Canada, 6 in NJ

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

***10 year green card in hand as of 2/2/2012, loving and living life***

Hmmm maybe we should move back to Canada! lol smile.png

Me too.Ususally babies that are born like that seldom make it.I will be praying for her. (L)

maybe i just missed it, but do they know if she can see through/control all 4 eyes, ears and noses?

From what I've read, the parents won't let anyone take her in for a check-up and CAT scan to see if she can live comfortably like this or to find out if she'll need surgery.

The local village doctor seems to be controlling the shots - he won't let the parents even talk to anyone for an interview.

Sad. I hope he isn't trying to cash in, I really do.

There have been other cases of babies born with facial duplication syndrome and they have had surgery to correct the defects. As far as I've read, the majority go on to lead normal and healthy lives.

Life is what you make it...if the child is meant to live, it will....

I hope that if it does, it is happy and has the best life possible.

I've seen people born with horrible illnesses, diseases that left them in constant pain and yet, they were happy, optimistic, dreamers and filled with peace.

Life is strange and wonderful.

Actually, apart from the face being duplicated, most of the babies with this syndrome live healthily after corrective surgery as no other part of the body is normally affected.

Lady, people aren't chocolates. Do you know what they are mostly? Bastards. ####### coated bastards with ####### filling. But I don't find them half as annoying as I find naive bobble-headed optimists who walk around vomiting sunshine.

I would, and would fight for her tooth and nail. Last time I checked, I am not God, hence it's not up to me to decide who "deserves" to live.
