Hi VJ members!

The instructions of the Brasil consulate requires 1 original or notified copy from the issuing authoraty of birth and merriage certificate and police clearence, 1 photocopy of the biographic part of your passport, but I've read in some threads that we should take an original plus 1 notified copy of each document or 2 notified copies of each document. Should I send an original and a notified copy of each or 2 notified copies of each or just 1 notified copy is OK???

Thank you for your comments.

Just the originals or certified copies of the required documents are okay (one of each). Then make exact photocopies of those paperwork. These photocopies are not required to be notarized nor certified.

You only need the photocopies so that if the CO wants some paperwork, they can verify the original which you can then keep and they will keep the photocopy which does not to be notarized.
