At the time, they told us that they lost his medical exam and needed a month to clear things up. Later, I found out from the guy who actually investigated us from the embassy (he turned out to be a friend of my husband's uncle) that the "lost medical" was an excuse to investigate us because we had a lot of recent documents. At the time I had just gotten a new job so my paychecks stubs all had recent dates. My husband was carrying his Birth Cert., license, ID's in a folder and accidentally left it in a taxi. He had to re-file for everything weeks before the interview. I had just bought my house and my house deed had brand new dates. When we looked back and went down the list of evidence sure enough everything coincidentally had just been recently done and the embassy found it to be really suspicious. They wanted to make sure the paperwork wasn't fraudulent.

Ok, thanks. I, too have started a new job. I think I'm gonna put that question out there to anyone that might know if that's going to be a problem. I worked prior to that one, but I changed it recently.
