Hehe! I get my mum to do that, but she just mainly sends me tubs of marmite which my sister gets for me from Macros. Is cheaper sending tubs that jars, because the tubs weigh much less.

Hmm - my brother has a macro card >< I wonder if they do bovril as well...

maybe you can see the tiny jars as like a nicotine patch for smokers... you can go smaller and smaller til you can finally wean yourself off the stuff :P

 I'm definitely a Marmite addict, you'd never be able to wean me off it, I've been eating this stuff for 23 years, it's my life! :P;)

to answer your earlier question, Jeraly - as far as I know, it's virtually impossible to ship refrigerated stuff, unless you're running an import business or something :(

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

That sucks - I know my mum has a friend who has a son in Georgia and I think she manages it somehow... other than that I guess it is going to be sneaky sneaky through customs

They never seemed to have a problem with cheese though which is a good thing :D I even got sniffer dogged once and begrudgingly owned up to my cheese - they seemed more concerned with vegetation and meat :D

I've never seen that golden syrup stuff here, no...Gah, I was so mad the first time I had to have that. Was just last summer I think. Me and Iain made french toast and went out to get syrup for it. Silly me thinking we were buying REAL syrup, not thick honey beeswax shite. Ah

You can get Branston at Jungle Jim's in Cincy. Good English cheddar is at Trader Joe's.

Thanks :) but I know. But I try to ration myself because it's pretty expensive at those places. I know where to get those things, it's just that I can't really afford to buy it often!

We have British stores in Dayton which are closer than Jungle Jims where I try to get that stuff.... I always find I have to plan an entire afternoon at Jungle Jims because I have to go to the French, Indian, German and general cheese sections as well as the British one!

Ok, American guy here!

I don't get the soccer (football), When I was in school I played it all the time and I loved it. But to watch it being played is like watching paint dry. No one ever scores points!

How can this be enjoyable?

I've never understood what's so exciting about American "football". Takes like an hour to get from one end of the field to the other!! :P I went and saw the Denver Broncos, never been so bored in all my life.

Yeah but how is a game exciting when no one wins...just draws...m'dear? :-p You can either win or lose in my opinion!
